NUOVOCORSO

NUOVOCORSO was founded in 2011 as a company specializing in the production of large slabs ceramic, the most innovative product, aimed at interior designers, contractors, architects and furniture manufacturers.

Big slabs are born and developed to cover the target previously served by the marble workers. The large slabs are gradually replacing marble, onyx, natural stones very sought after and expensive. Thanks to the most modern digital tehcnologies and to the patents’ glaze, the ceramic can reproduce any material like fabric with the procelain stoneware charateristcs: fireproof, water repellent, stain resistant, easy to clean and antibacterial.

NUOVOCORSO Spa is part of a ceramic group with a wide range of products with ceramica Artistica, one of the first ceramic tiles in Modena district. Founded in 1959, the pioneering company produced the floor of the entire village during of the 1960 Rome Olympics, thanks to the incessant activity of search of the well-known family Pifferi.

NUOVOCORSO is the first company to invest in the production of “large slabs” in format 160×320 in 3 different thicknesses using the most modern Made in Italy machine system, becoming the most important subcontractor in the ceramic’s sector.

In the last 2 years reinvesting on the main technological, process and design innovations, has doubled the production capacity of the Carpineti factory, redeveloped research laboratories, strengths that have allowed NC to position itself on the market both of distributors and designers at international level.

The company does not stop, in 2025 it will invest in the largest slab in the world 190×350 by a new production machines, designed and patented exclusively for NC. The new NUOVOCORSO’s slabs are the outcome of a latest generation technology, perfected and customised in a new factory built exclusively for their manufacture. 2011

Nuovocorso is born

Founded in 2011 as a company specializing in the production of large slabs ceramic, the most innovative product, aimed at interior designers, contractors, architects and furniture manufacturers.

2016

Renovation

In 2016 Nuovocorso creates the brand and completely renovates the plant, requalifying it with more modern technologies.
BigSlabs are produced with Continua+, the innovative compaction technology that overcomes the productivity limits of large formats and which, thanks to the multiple possibilities of mixing together raw materials of different nature and color, allows the aesthetic effects of the product.

2018

New logistics hub

A new logistics hub is being developed to streamline and enhance supply chain operations. This facility will serve as a centralized point for the storage, distribution, and management of goods, significantly improving efficiency and reducing transportation costs.

2024

New headquarters in Borzano di Albinea (RE)

This modern facility aims to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth in the region. The headquarters will feature state-of-the-art amenities and foster a collaborative work environment, contributing to the local economy and creating new job opportunities.

2025

Jumbo - Plant with largest slabs in the world

2025 will be the year it enters production of the largest plate format in the world
ceramic with dimensions of 190 x 350. This format will be the only one in the world with these
dimensions.
